The Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Outcome Sciences offers advanced degrees with specialization in the area of pharmaceutical outcomes sciences.

A graduate admissions committee of the college reviews all applicants to the M.S. and Ph.D. programs. Candidates may apply for admission at any time during the year; however, notification of acceptance will normally be made only in March for matriculation the following fall semester. Serious consideration will be given to applicants with a minimum overall grade point average equivalent of B and minimum GRE scores of 1050 (verbal and quantitative sections) and 4 (analytical section). Applicants whose native language is not English are also required to submit a satisfactory score on the TOEFL. The minimum acceptable score on the TOEFL is 88 (internet-based). A degree from an accredited college of pharmacy is required for applicants considering an advanced degree in the discipline of clinical pharmacy and outcome sciences. For advanced degrees in the disciplines of medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutics, or pharmacology, an undergraduate degree in pharmacy or in the supporting sciences, such as chemistry or biology, is recommended. The college awards a number of teaching and/or research assistantships to graduate students in pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences and clinical pharmacy and outcome sciences. Students receiving graduate stipends are subject to regulations of The Graduate School and the following policies:
